+# Surveillance Web interface based on motion
+A simple web interface written in php for surveillance cameras.
+
+## Setup
+1. clone this repository
+2. install motion (`# apt install motion`)
+3. create motion config files for your camera setup:
+	- `target_dir` is always this directory
+	- motion captures write to `%Y-%m-%d/<cam-id>/%H-%M-%S-%q%v`
+	- live captures write to `live/<cam-id>_%S`
+	- example config files can be found in `example_config/motion`
+4. modify `config.inc.php`:
+	- set `$inc_pfad_www` to this directory
+	- set `$inc_cams` to an array of your cam-ids
+	- set `$inc_cams_label` to the display name for each camera
+5. start motion `$ motion`
+6. start an http server in this directory
+
